Dimethicone's application in personal care
Dimethicone is soluble in most solvents and highly compatible with most cosmetic ingredients. It is widely used in personal care products, offering good dispersibility, leaving no residue or deposits, and providing a non-greasy feel that makes the skin soft and smooth. The low-viscosity, volatile dimethicone is often used as a base fluid or volatile carrier in personal care products due to its excellent dispersibility and unique volatility, especially in antiperspirants and deodorants.
We provide the following EU REACH registered cosmetic grade dimethicone with D4, D5 and D6 less than 0.1%.
