Volatile PDMS fluid
We offers a range of ultra-low viscosity volatile polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) fluids which ares crucial compound in modern industrial applications, offering versatility and performance across multiple fields. Hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO/MM) can used as capping agents for the production of other silicone materials. It finds is application in plasma coating as precursor in PECVD process as well as in personal care products as base fluid due to its fastest evaporation rate and lowest viscosity. Octamethyltrisiloxane (MDM) is also a versatile silicone fluid with a wide range of industrial applications due to their properties such as low surface tension, high spreadability, and chemical inertness, etc. It is an excellent heat transfer fluid in certain applications due to its high boiling point and low viscosity. It can be employed as hydraulic fluid due to its excellent thermal stability and low compressibility. Low viscosity PDMS fluid
Low viscosity PDMS fluid still finds their applications in personal care application:
Compared to conventional medium-viscosity PDMS fluid (50, 100, 200, 350, 500, 1000 cSt), low-viscosity PDMS oils offer a lighter, fresher feel due to their lower viscosity. The refreshing, non-greasy skincare and haircare products we use daily typically incorporate low-viscosity PDMS fluid. In addition to the improved skin feel, low-viscosity PDMS fluid also offer greater convenience in formulation processes due to their compatibility advantages brought by low viscosity. Experiments have shown that low-viscosity PDMS fluid can perfectly blend with commonly white oils, thus avoiding the emulsification challenges often associated with conventional medium-viscosity PDMS fluid.

Under the same working conditions, low-viscosity PDMS fluid has better fluidity, while high-viscosity PDMS fluid is thicker. Moreover, there are significant differences between low-viscosity and high-viscosity PDMS fluid in terms of thermal stability and oxidation stability. Due to its lower viscosity, low-viscosity PDMS fluid maintains good fluidity even in extremely low-temperature environments, making it suitable for use as lubricants, bearing oils, mechanical seals, heat transfer media, bath oil, thermostatic fluids, shock-absorbing damping oil, dielectric fluid, and more.

High viscosity PDMS fluid
High viscosity PDMS fluid is widely used in the mechanical field, commonly for the production of high-precision lubricants, specialty lubricants, compressor oils, and other lubrication materials. Due to its high viscosity, silicone oil has excellent penetration capabilities, providing stable lubrication during the friction of mechanical components. Additionally, it helps to reduce the wear and aging of mechanical parts. It is also suitable for the lubrication and protection of plastic gears, plastic moving parts, rubber O-rings, and bearings.
For medical and pharmaceutical applications: High viscosity PDMS fluid can be used as a lubricant, dispersant, and encapsulant in the production of pharmaceuticals, such as in the manufacture of tablets, capsules, emulsions, and more.
High viscosity PDMS fluid can also be widely used in the construction industry, primarily for the coating and anti-corrosion treatment of glass curtain walls, aluminum profiles, and hardware fittings.
